Wade Pelham of NH Department of Environmental Services commended Lebanon Public Works Administrative staff for their efforts in maintaining an excellent backflow program.
Mr. Pelham thanked staff for an accurate and detailed annual report, which is due in April each year. Administrative Assistant Ann Cormier is the primary staff member responsible for administering the backflow program including sending out retest letters, scheduling tests, and updating program software as needed.
The City currently oversees 932 backflow devices. Of these, 589 are low hazards which are tested once per year; 343 are high hazards which get tested twice per year. Backflow devices prevent water that has entered a building from re-entering the City water supply. |
